The Fox & Hounds at Harlestone is a lovely stone built pub with easy access from Northampton but a million miles away. Harlestone is surely one of the county’s loveliest. The warm sandstone and thatch cottages are a testament to the centuries of quarrying that has taken place in this vicinity, evidenced by the many hills and hollows to be seen in nearby fields.
We are open every day from 12 to 11pm (12 to 10.30 Sundays)
Food is served from our bar snack menu from 12pm to 3pm during the week, and from 12pm to 6pm on Saturdays, containing sandwiches and lighter bites, to our full menu.
The menu is simple but up to the minute. It's tempting, with homely things like fired pizzas, steaks and fish and chips, but with some contemporary, global touches to keep things lively. The chef introduces daily specials using market fresh ingredients and in the afternoons, High Tea is served using local ingredients.
The atmosphere at The Fox & Hounds is relaxed, friendly and informal, while the overall impression is of a pub which is comfortable, light and open. It is our attention to detail and high level of service that ensures your whole dining experience more than exceeds your expectations.
