With its beautiful interiors, chic bar area, spacious dining environment, and attractive outdoor space, this premium pub, bar, and restaurant is perfectly equipped to accommodate all of your unique dining requirements.

We are also a child friendly establishment, so please feel free to bring your little ones along too! They will absolutely love making their way through our dedicated children’s menu – trust us, you’ll have no problem getting them to clear their plates.

Keeping Busy in Lower Harlestone

Located in the picturesque village of Lower Harlestone, between Harlestone Firs and the country estate of Althorp, The Fox & Hounds is in a wonderful part of the world. Surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside, with the attractions and amenities of Northampton right on the door step, it’s really worth exploring the area surrounding this stylish pub, bar, and restaurant.

Whether you’re looking for a brisk walk to blow away the cobwebs or a gentle stroll on a summer’s day, you’ll find plenty of spaces to walk in and explore in the area. Abington Park, Northampton’s oldest and most popular park, is home to the Abington Park Museum, play areas, a medieval village, two lakes, and lots of wide, open spaces.

Coton Manor Garden is a ten acre garden occupying a hillside position around the 17th century Coton Manor. With beautiful gardens, streams, fountains, and ponds, as well as a magical five acre bluebell wood, there’s plenty here for the whole family to explore.
